Why Calypso Glow?
We are passionate about the natural healing power of island coconut oil infused with superfood antioxidants and vitamin-rich fresh ingredients from tropical botanicals and oceanic minerals. Some of our core ingredients include coconut oil, coconut milk, coconut water and seaweed extracts. Our products do not contain sulfates or parabens, and they are not tested on animals. They do contain skin-safe ingredients for an indulgent, rejuvenating experience that delivers real benefits without harming the long-term integrity of the skin.
Our Story
Over the years, our founder has been inspired by the generations of women in her family who hand-make coconut oil using simple tools in their kitchens. Enjoying the many benefits and uses of coconut oils, especially in skin care has been part and parcel of living life naturally for generations of Caribbean families. Today’s range of Calypso Glow products pays homage to those Caribbean women who mix tropical herbs gathered from lush botanical forests, enjoy the abundance of fresh tropical fruits, and understand the natural healing power of the Caribbean sea. Each creation starts with coconut oil that is sustainably harvested by local agricultural communities to ensure the highest quality is achieved, and some are infused with USDA certified organic fragrance or essential oils, which we believe represent the epitome of the Caribbean – vibrant, tropical and simply beautiful.
