Can I try a sample set?
Sure, you can! Our gift sets work well as sample sizes. You can order a set here
How long will my sample set last?
Our sample kit is designed for a few uses. The Nourishing Body Wash Milk will last for about 1-2 bath soaks, the Illuminating Body Scrub & Polish, and Soothing Body Oil will last for about 3-4 uses each. This is definitely enough time to have a great experience with our sat! For some, these will last longer or shorter depending on how you decide to use them. For example, if you use the scrub on selected areas of your body rather than a full body scrub, it will last longer. Please keep in mind that a little goes a LONG way.
Can I see a full list of your ingredients?
Yes! Our naturally Caribbean-inspired skincare products are clean and green helping you to make educated choices for your own health and well-being. If you’d like to see a list of ingredients in our products, please see the individual product pages in our shop.
My Body Oil is solid. What do I do?
Coconut oil, in its natural state, will solidify at room temperature. It naturally melts and becomes liquid at 76 degrees Fahrenheit. The good news is that your oil will soften very quickly if in warmer temperatures or when you place in warm water for a few minutes, shake and then use. Note: Repeated warming of the oil will not affect its quality or degrade it.
What is the difference between your Body Oil with tropical scents and Moisture Rich Body Oil?
Our Coconut Body Oils Infused with Tropical scents is a deeply nourishing moisturizer full of anti-oxidant and antiseptic properties. Its vitamin content makes its skin repairing ability great for everyday use whether you want to sooth sun-damaged skin, smooth uneven skin tone or simple soften skin without clogging pores.
Our Moisture Rich Body Oil is a powerful blend of organic Caribbean coconut oil, Omega-3 & 7 fatty acids, and seaweed extracts – containing Astaxanthin, which is 60 times more powerful than vitamin C, and is one of the most powerful anti-oxidants available today. Its rich properties help to rehydrate, repair and stimulate cell regeneration. The vitamins C & E it contains is known to brighten and smooth uneven skin tone. It packs a lot in a little bottle. Only a dime-sized amount is needed both morning and night for a more intensive yet enriching treatment. It is easily absorbed into the skin and a little goes a long way. If you’re looking to upgrade your moisturizer, this is the one to start with.
Are your products vegan or do you test on animals?
All of our products are vegan. We also never test on animals.
Why do your products come in plastic PET bottles and jars?
We use recyclable plastic among our packaging options. PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a durable plastic with good clarity, good moisture barrier and tends to be impact resistant, allowing for the preservation of the natural ingredients contained within so that they last for a longer period of time. PET can be identified easily by locating its recycling code symbol – the familiar triangular shaped arrows with the number 1 in the center. PET can be recycled into many other products besides bottles and jars.
Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?
Yes. Please note: Pure essential oils are contra-indicated in pregnancy, but are not considered harmful to use when blended into products as they will not be applied in their purest form or in significant amounts onto skin. If you have any concerns, particularly about the use of our Lime Crisp Calming Body Oil, please check with your doctor.
Is it safe to use your products on young children?
Calypso Glow products are designed for adult, external use. If you choose to use the products on children of ages 2 years and upwards, please use caution. Keeping in mind that younger skin can react to products that are too physically harsh for their skin, such as our Illuminating Body Scrub & Polish and our Moisture Rich Body Oil maybe too rich for acne prone skin, including that of a teenager. Do your products have expiration dates?
All of our products are made using the highest quality ingredients and no chemical preservatives. We use packaging that preserves the products as best as possible, but they do have recommended shelf lives to keep the products as fresh as possible.Our Cleansers (Scrub and Milk Wash) will expire after approximately 12 months. Our Body Oils and Body Bars have an average shelf life of 2 - 3 years.

The products you are buying are handcrafted and natural organic so no two products are ever the same, for example, there will be variations from batch to batch in color of soap bars. However, each maintains its quality and wonderful skin-health benefits.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contactus@calypsoglow.com and send your item to 16 School Street, White Plains, NYC 10606.
Gifts
When requesting a gift to be sent to someone special, please adjust the "ship to" address at checkout -- no exceptions. Calypso Glow LLC is not responsible for shipping when your address is not correctly entered on Amazon.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
U.S. Current shipping times
Please note that there may be delays due to weekends and holidays as well as international services and customs. Check your tracking number provided by Amazon to determine the estimated/ expected time of delivery.
Customs
Customers should be familiar with their country's customs policies. If customs charges occur please note that you, the buyer, are 100% responsible for the fees. Calypso Glow LLC cannot be responsible for items that are held up or destroyed in customs.

Return Policy
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase,unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 16 School Street, White Plains, NYC 10606.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds will be considered.

Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
There will be no refunds, exchanges or returns on the basis that the customer doesn’t like the product scent etc. All items are adequately supplied with protective packaging. However, in the unlikely event of items being damaged during transit, please inform us within 2 days of receiving your shipment, and we will discuss return or reshipment options. If there is a fault with the product itself, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund which would include the shipping costs.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
