Get ready for Westchester’s Skin n’ Swim Shopping Event!

Shopping for sustainable goods is increasingly popular and now in Westchester and the Hudson Valley area, there are new opportunities to purchase organic and responsible artisanal goods from a variety of small businesses. Green Eileen, a recycle clothing initiative of Eileen Fisher, has successfully spearheaded much of this change and non-profit organizations such as and WEDC (the Women’s Enterprise Development Center) has helped to train and connect local entrepreneurs interested in Green Business practice.
This June, Green Eileen and WEDC will host a summer shopping trunk show full of delightful artisan products for the summer from five local sustainable indie brands on Saturday, June 25th. The first 50 attendees will receive a swag of awesome goodies handpicked by Calypso Glow skincare, Chic Designs handcrafted jewelry, Green Eileen clothing, Maria Luisa artisanal goods, Mirame Swim swimwear, and Pima Doll clothing! What’s more, admission is free.
We’re kicking off this awesome summer shopping event with complimentary refreshments and offering a fashion demo of our summer collections and accessories. There will also be sample giveaways to get you pumped and prepped for the summer months ahead.

Green Eileen – Green Eileen is recycled clothing program, an initiative of the Eileen Fisher Inc. Green Eileen is committed to reducing environmental impact and generating income to support programs that improve the lives of women and girls.
Mirame Swim – A collection of fully supportive swimwear for women offering silhouettes that are both fashion forward and sophisticated and 100% manufactured in the USA.
Calypso Glow – Caribbean-inspired organic handcrafted skincare made in the Caribbean and the USA. Sustainably harvested, handcrafted in small batches and sold in recyclable and compostable packaging.
Pima Doll – Artisanal ready-to-wear apparel made of Pima cotton – one of the world’s most luxurious and sustainable cotton, manufactured in the USA and Peru.
Maria Luisa Boutique – Specializes in a wide variety of fine, handmade, fair trade and eco-friendly merchandise produced in the USA and around the world.
**10% of all sales will be donated to WEDC, to help further educate, train empower and support entrepreneurs in the Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley.
